Okay, so like others, I've been having a lot of difficulty getting my SB Audigy 2 working in Vista. I tried the Vista drivers, I tried the KX drivers... nothing.
So... don't know why... but I tried downloading the 98/2000/XP drivers from Creative Labs... ran the install... and for whatever reason, I now have sound!

Hey thanks for the tip. I had the same issue and now it works like a charm.

I am very supprised. I installed vista and on the first boot, it installed device drivers for everything including my Sound Blaster Audigy 2 which it aquired from Windows Update I think. Is there different chipsets?
