Sound Blaster Audigy Drivers
Has anybody gotten the SoundBlaster Audigy 2 to work with Xandros? It is detected as a SoundBlaster Audigy according to Control Center. It's using IRQ 5 and the IRQ is not shared with any other card. I don't see any error messages during boot, but still get no sound whether logged in as a plain user or as root.

I've read in magazine reviews and in the Dell catalog that Dell offers the Sound Blaster Audigy 2 card as an option. But when I try to order the system online, there's no option for the Audigy 2--it's only a choice between the SB Live card and a Turtle Beach card. What happened with the Audigy 2 card?

Since my dad is a musician, we got him the Creative Sound Blaster Audigy Platinum. The problem is that whenever he so much as opens the software for the music part of the card, the computer freezes, often making a loud skipping noise, like you might here on an old record with a scratch, but distorted.
